what to expect

How It Works

Book Your Consultation

Book your free, no-obligation 30-minute consultation. We discuss your situation, your goals, and your legal options in plain language. No pressure, no obligation.

Preparing for Your Consultation

Before the consultation, gather all of the relevant documents you have regarding your matter. This can help determine if I can help you with your specific case.

Moving Forward With Your Case

If I can help with your matter, I outline exactly what I will do, what it will cost, and what the process looks like. This is done in writing, through a retainer agreement, before any work begins. I manage your case according to the agreed scope of representation, keeping you informed at every step with plain-language updates.

about my practice

Ashley Weston, Esq.

I did not come to immigration law by accident. Before my legal career, I earned a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor's degree in English with an emphasis in Professional and Technical Writing — two disciplines that have nothing obvious to do with law, and everything to do with how I practice it.

During my social work and legal education, I spent time in immigrant communities. From the heart of Los Angeles in Pico Union to the Philippines and China, these experiences have shaped my vantage point when it comes to the law. It is never just paperwork. It is a family, a livelihood, a future.

pricing and fees

Transparent, Flat-Fee Pricing

I charge flat fees — not hourly. You know the full cost before any work begins, in writing, in your retainer agreement. No surprises, no billing anxiety. Fee information is provided during or shortly after your free 30-minute consultation, once I have a clear understanding of your specific situation.

Please note that in addition to attorney fees, most immigration matters require separate government filing fees. These fees are set by the government and are subject to change. I provide a complete breakdown of all applicable fees — attorney and government — before any work begins. Book your consultation today!
